We are busy creating some unique and fun dining experiences for you. Generous hosts and chefs from the community will be opening their homes and restaurants and preparing some memorable meals for 8 to 80 people with ticket prices between $25 and $175.
FLAVOR! will kick off in September and run through October 2018.
Tickets go on sale to the public in July.

Hosts Cody Hogan and Peter Crump invite you to join in their garden for an evening Italian-inspired local delights. Using local, in-season ingredients and featuring the traditional courses of antipasti, pasta, secondi and dolci, and wines from the vineyards of Lidia Bastianich, this dinner is sure evoke the finest flavors of the Italian peninsula.
September 19, 2017: OUR PERUVIAN PRESIDENT, hosted by Gabriel Zorogastua
Good Samaritan Project Board President Gabe Zorogastua invites you to share in the cuisine of his native Peru! The menu features papas rellenas, quinoa salad, aji de gallina, arroz con pollo, arroz con maricos, and choco flan – all cooked to perfection by none other than caterer extraordinaire, Gabe’s mother. After dinner pisco sours will be served as Andean music plays.
September 24, 2017: FIESTA DE PIÑATA, hosted by Paul Monteil & Chris Hernandez
Dia de los Muertos isn’t here yet, but that’s no reason not to have a piñata party! Please join hosts Chris Hernandez and Paul Monteil for a fiesta featuring three rounds of piñata-smashing fun, a margarita machine, Mexican beers, made-to-order quesadillas and the best tres leches cake in Kansas City.

Breathtaking Plaza views and a revue with Daisy Buckët (fresh off her off-Broadway show with The Kinsey Sicks) await as Eric Thomas & Jonathan Gregory’s present some of Kansas City’s finest offerings. Following an hour of cocktails, savor your way through a four course meal straight from the Ragazza kitchen. Accompanying each course, of course, are wine pairings from the cellars of Cooper’s Hawk Winery. And to top things off? Sumptuous treats by Bernard’s Bakhaus and floral splendor compliments of Arts & Flowers KC.

Join these two hot tamales for a fun night of tacos, ‘ritas and rock-and-roll! You’ll know the place when you see the Indios Carbonsitos truck parked in the driveway and hear the guitar player. Indios Carbonsitos serves what its owner/chef Adrian calls “MEXI-Q,” a fusion of traditional Mexican and BBQ. You’ll wash it down with good Margaritas and Mexican beer. And you’ll enjoy Tim Stop, an indy musician who has toured nationally and is often heard on Sirius XM’s Coffeehouse.

Mike Enos hosts a dinner in his 19th century home with star of screen and stage Tuc Watkins. The sumptuous menu includes smoked trout paté with caviar; corn and red pepper bisque; seared pork tenderloin with a cherry-port reduction and Roquefort polenta. And, in case you thought the decadence was done before dessert, never fear: Christopher Elbow dark chocolate ice cream with coffee liqueur, spiced caramel, honey roasted almonds and black sea salt finish the night’s noshes.
